What are interactive online tools?

Interactive online tools activate the participants of an online meeting. The interaction, for example the click to answer a question or the activation of a slider, increases the attention and the emotional connection to the presentation.

The participants have the feeling of being an active part of the presentation and of actively shaping its course.

Online meetings in which participants actively contribute their knowledge are a real benefit for everyone.

There are three different groups of interactive tools: Polling, Survey and Online Whiteboard.

Interactive online tools and business meetings

Currently, there are few presentation solutions that offer integrated interactive elements for the participants. Mostly, external tools are used, which lead to an abandonment of the presentation.

During a presentation, interactive tools requirements are scaled down to a minimum. At a whiteboard for example it is only necessary to make marks or highlights. A real extensive collaboration does not take place, as whiteboard elements are used to clarify individual contexts or explanations.

The same applies to polling and survey elements. It makes no sense to have the participants fill out an extensive questionnaire during a presentation.
